Permanent Residency with Canadian Work Experience
This program is one of the express entry subcategories and a method to get Canada permanent residency.
This program is designed for those applicants who have entered Canada with a temporary visa to work or study and after getting educated in Canada or obtaining Canadian work experience want to get permanent residency in Canada.
- Having at least a full year (1560 hours ) or equivalent of Canadian work experience in NOC A, B or 0
- Having CLB 5 in French or English for type B NOCs
- Having CLB 7 in French or English for type A and 0 NOCs
WHAT'S THE PROCEDURE?
Post graduate work permit (PGWP) means to work in Canada after you graduate, you need a work permit.
The work experience you gain while working may help you qualify for permanent residence.
If you’re not eligible for a PGWP, you may still be able to work in Canada after you graduate.
